In the late '80s a group of musicians got together all deriving from different musical backgrounds and all of them holding many years experience entertaining audiences nationally and internationally earning themselves great personal achievements and modest success from within their own fields.

This group of musicians moulded together and In January of 1989 The Untouchables were born. A glowing aura radiated from within the band, as they became aware of the exciting results from their first few rehearsals together. They bounced off each other's ideas exploiting their common love for early motown, classic soul, and reggae music. These three musical styles identified the band and were the concept for their future success.

They introduced themselves to the music scene and quickly became established as one of the most entertaining bands in the south with an ever-increasing proliferation of supporters. Their versatility and comprehensive selection of authentic songs became one of The Untouchables many strengths giving them the ability to perform to an audience of select or varied tastes.

In the early '90s increasing demand saw The Untouchables establish regular slots in many venues. Their repertoire increased and popularity carried them on growing from strength to strength and gave rise to many prestigious concerts locally and nationally.

The band has enjoyed great success during the 90's playing pubs, clubs, private functions, universities and colleges and has undertaken much charitable work.

The Untouchables line up is the same today as was when originally formed, and they owe much of their success to the stability and friendship they hold.

Danny Smith (lead Vocals/Guitars/Tomfoolery)
Danny has the gift of capturing an audience and involving them in the bands' music. He has a wealth of experience having enjoyed moderate success composing, playing Guitar and singing original reggae semi-professionally during the 80's. He projects a high standard of powerful, melodic vocals and authentic rapping together with hypnotic guitar rhythms and excellent technical skills earning him respect throughout audiences, musicians and the local media as a quality entertainer and composer.
Tim Smart (Drums/skulduggery/buffoonery jiggery-pokery)
Tim originates from a contemporary reggae/rock background and has developed his own techniques using a hard direct beat. With a solid driving force, Tim expresses flare and passion exploding into a maelstrom of infectious toe tapping rhythms.
Martin Brisland (Keyboards)

Coming from a background of Soul, Rhythm and Blues, Martin radiates unique raw talent and has the gift of a powerful dynamic sound and a charismatic presence on stage. He commands the heart of The Untouchables structure employing a combination of hard hitting chords, ambient strings and three dimensional effects, contrasting the bands sounds from early Motown & Soul to modern Dance and Reggae music

Roy Brown (Bass/vocals)

Besides composing, arranging, and producing original material, Roy made his mark on the music scene playing inventive, colourful basslines alongside Danny during the early 80's boom years when reggae had become commercially fashionable, and to his credibility At this time, became the most sought after bassist in the south.

Bogdan Dudzik (saxes)

Bogdan has played for many years professionally at a national level in his home country of Poland. Originally self-taught, he has become dedicated to his music, constantly striving for perfection in his performance. He is a master of brass arraignments and alongside Dave produces sensational harmonics

Julio caesar (Purcussion/vocals)

Although influenced by Jazz and Soul Julio is from a traditional folk background, and has session with professional bands playing at competitive level nationally and in Europe. Julio projects a tight cutting edge to the music demonstrating dynamics and versatility, producing solo sounds of exceptional quality.
